The unit is usually fitted into the garage or a cupboard and the ducting is usually fitted through the roof or floor and into a pantry or wardrobe so you dont't see the piping, inlets are then fitted through the hallway, kitchen or lounge.This gives you the vacuum cleaning flexibility only a central vacuum system offers.
